Why choose our guardians

We have limitless access to resources and expertise in the world of education

With a wealth of experience and access to the finest resources in international education, Nutriglobe Guardians promises the very best support for your child and complete peace of mind for you. We provide comprehensive guardianship and pastoral services for pupils studying at British Universities and Boarding schools, and whose parents live in Nigeria.

What guardians do? When children study away from home, they need a stable, safe, and worry-free environment to thrive. Nutriglobe Guardians represent your child in the UK or Ireland country and arrange access to those important provisions that children need in everyday life.

Host familie? Our host families offer an exciting and valuable opportunity to integrate into British culture, learn about traditions, experience the local way of life and most importantly, allow your child to feel at home away from home.

Today, Nutriglobe works with over 200 welfare officers, counsellors, and education specialists across 80 cities, all of them speaking your child's language, understanding your culture, and dedicated to one goal: your child's holistic success.

What Drives Us

Our Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To provide every Nigerian student studying in the UK and Ireland with a comprehensive, caring welfare system that nurtures their academic performance, emotional resilience, and physical health, so parents in Nigeria have complete peace of mind, and students have the confidence to thrive.

Our Vision

To be the world's most trusted cross-cultural student welfare bridge, a globally recognised institution that sets the gold standard for how nations support their children studying abroad, beginning with the Nigeria-UK corridor and expanding to serve every African student family worldwide.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

The principles that guide every decision we make and every life we touch.

Genuine Care

We treat every student as our own child. Genuine empathy and authentic care are never negotiable at Nutriglobe Guardians.

Safety First

Every decision, every visit, every placement is governed by rigorous safeguarding standards and child protection protocols.

Cultural Bridge

We honour Nigerian culture and heritage while equipping students for British and Irish academic and social life, the best of both worlds.

Excellence

From our AEGIS accreditation partners to our 98% parent satisfaction score, excellence is our daily standard, not an occasional achievement.

The Problem We Solve

Nigerian Students in the UK Face a Silent Crisis

Each year, thousands of Nigerian students arrive in the UK and Ireland to discover a system completely unprepared to support their unique cultural, emotional, and academic needs. The consequences are real and often devastating.

01
Academic Underperformance
Without adequate academic support and mentoring, many Nigerian students underperform in the first year — jeopardising scholarships and future opportunities.
02
Mental Health Crisis
Loneliness, culture shock, and food insecurity affect 68% of first-year Nigerian students abroad, yet only 12% access professional mental health support.
03
Parent Communication Gap
Parents in Nigeria have no reliable, structured channel for welfare updates, leaving them anxious and unable to intervene when things go wrong.
04
Safeguarding Risks
Without a registered guardian or welfare officer in the UK, students are legally and practically unprotected in emergencies, medical situations, and housing disputes.
